Korean Cultural Heritage Festival K-POP Contest 2025
Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2025 K-Pop Contest at the Korean Cultural Heritage Festival! Please read the following information carefully before submitting your application.
Judging Criteria
Participants will be evaluated based on the following five categories (Total Score: 10 points):
4 points
Choreography / Vocal Skills
For dance: Judges will assess the precision of movements, creativity, and overall choreography quality.
For vocal: Judges will evaluate pitch accuracy, vocal control, and emotional expression.
3 points
Stage Presence & Energy
Judges will look for confidence, charisma, facial expressions, and audience engagement.
1.5 points
Synchronization / Teamwork
Group performances will be judged on timing, coordination, and harmony among members.
0.5 point
Costume & Styling
Outfits should be appropriate and aligned with the performance concept.
1 point
Creativity & Overall Impact
Judges will consider originality, creativity, and the lasting impression of the performance.
Preliminary Round – Video Submission
Application Deadline: Monday, June 30, 2025
To enter the contest, please complete the application form below and submit a video link showcasing your performance.

YouTube links are accepted. Video file attachments will not be accepted.

The submitted video must be identical to the performance you will present in the final round. If the final performance differs significantly, your finalist status may be revoked.
Video Duration: 1–2 minutes

The video must include the chorus or climax section of the song.
Finalists will be notified individually via email on Monday, July 3, 2025.

Final Round – Live Performance

Date: Saturday, July 19, 2025

Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Venue: Swangard Stadium, Burnaby

Performance Duration: Must not exceed 5 minutes.
All finalists must be available on the specified date and time. Performance order and assigned time slots will be determined by the organizing committee and shared individually with each finalist.

The Grand Prize winner will be invited to return as a guest performer at next year’s Korean Cultural Heritage Festival.
